On May 26, 2022, credit rating agency S&P Global Ratings upgrades Vietnam long-term sovereign credit rating to BB+, outlook Stable.

On December 29th 2021, Vice-Minister of Finance of Vietnam, Mr. Tran Xuan Ha and the Netherlands Ambassador to Vietnam, H.E. Ms. Elsbeth Akkerman signed an agreement for DRIVE financing (DRIVE: Development Related Investment Infrastructure Vehicle) by the Netherlands Invest International, to support the Vinh Long City Urban Development and Enhanced Climate Resilience Project of the ODA-Project Management Unit of Vinh Long province.

Fitch’s announcement on affirming Viet Nam’s sovereign ratings at BB, changing outlook to Stable

On April 8th 2020, Fitch Ratings (Fitch) announced in a Press Release to affirm the Government of Viet Nam’s sovereign credit rating at BB, and change the outlook to Stable.

Disclosure on terms and conditions for ODA and less concessional borrowings for Vietnam provided by six development banks

The Ministry of Finance has updated terms and conditions of ODA and less concessional loans of six development banks, including The World Bank (WB), The Asian Development Bank (ADB), The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), The Export–Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM), Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW). The terms and conditions including loan term, grace period, interest rate, loan currency, commitment fee, front-end fee, management fee, maturity premium and other footnotes has been incorporated into the attached template by the Ministry of Finance.

Moody's upgrades Vietnam's ratings to Ba3, changes outlook to stable

Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") has today upgraded the Government of Vietnam's long-term issuer and senior unsecured ratings to Ba3 from B1 and changed the outlook to stable from positive.
